Dear Brass Band Enthusiasts,

Tomorrow evening in Lafayette, and Sunday afternoon in Los Gatos!

As we prepare to perform Cosmopolitan America, we’re reminded that September 11 is also a day of remembrance. Our program includes Eric Ewazen’s A Hymn for the Lost and Living, a moving work written in response to the events of 9/11. Its quiet reflection and ultimate sense of hope offer a particularly meaningful moment in this weekend’s concert.

Alongside music by Gershwin, John Williams, William Grant Still, and others, we invite you to join us for an evening, or afternoon, celebrating the diversity, resilience, and spirit of America.
