BANDthology: SFBB returns with an all-new program (Oct. 19 @ 3pm)
Dear friends of the San Francisco Brass Band, We’re excited to invite you to our next performance, BANDthology, coming up on Sunday, October 19! Since our Love Stories concerts, we’ve been hard at work preparing an all-new program of lovable music for our final concert in 2025. Under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey de Seriere, SFBB will perform Nancy Galbraith’s “Luminosity”, Holst’s classic “A Moorside Suite”, selections from “Wicked”, and the powerful Finale from Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 (“Resurrection”). We’ll be sharing the stage with our friends from the San Jose Metropolitan Band, making this an afternoon full of energy, variety, and great music-making.
